The Inspiring Journey of ʻĀlaluka the Orca
“And hello everyone, may you live long”
ʻĀlaluka was a young orca living in the cold waters of the Pacific Northwest. She was part of a pod of whales that spent their days hunting for food and playing together. Despite being a strong and capable hunter, ʻĀlaluka often found herself the target of harassment from the other whales in her pod.
Despite her best efforts, ʻĀlaluka struggled to fit in with her peers. She was constantly teased and ridiculed, and it seemed like no matter what she did, she couldn’t escape the negative attention of the other whales.
One day, while the pod was hunting for seals, ʻĀlaluka was separated from the group. She swam and swam, trying to catch up, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t seem to get closer. Just when she thought all was lost, a group of friendly dolphins appeared out of nowhere and offered to help her find her way back to her pod.
With the help of the dolphins, ʻĀlaluka finally made it back to her pod, but she never forgot the kindness of the dolphins. From that day on, she made a point to stand up for herself and never let the harassers get her down.
The subliminal message in this story is that it’s important to stand up for oneself and never let harassment get in the way of being happy and successful. Even though it can be difficult, it’s important to find the strength and courage to overcome challenges and find support from others when needed.
